An inspector calls

 Yesterday our licensing inspector called unannounced for a spot check on what we do. He was greeted at the door by Ori and Willow who were quite happy to have someone new to play with. Sadly for the dogs he was here.to work not play.

He had a look round and met the dogs, checked our numbers to make sure that we don't have more dogs here than we are allowed. He met the puppies and had a look through our paperwork. 

After a lovely chat about the people who still carry on breeding pups with no license despite the new laws that are in place, he declared us just fine to carry on. Next inspection due next year when our license is up for renewal.

The job of the licensing officers is necessary and is useful for us as breeders too. He keeps us up to date on things we may have missed and we help him appreciate the finer aspects of breeding dogs.

Please, if you are seeking to bring a four legged friend into your home, ask to see a current license, get to know your breeder before meeting any fluffy bundles of joy, and do your research.

 This beautiful photo of Ori and her babies was taken today. I love the colours and some of the coats feel just like fresh new carpet.

Labrador puppies!

 Beautiful labrador puppies and their mum! She is so comical as wherever she lays down she has to have her head propped up on something. In a big room she will wedge herself against the wall. 

And don't be concerned with the dimensions of her space. She chose this area herself, presumably as it feels safe and closed in with her puppies. She can keep them all snuggled up together and they can't wander far. She has plenty of other space to be in as well. We always make arrangements for each mother as an individual because they are not all the same, although her grandmother and mother also preferred to tuck in small.

Talking of her mother, here is Echo, grandma to these babies. She is loving having so many pups to watch over without the actual mum work 😄

Echo is a lovely dog. She enjoys her home comforts and likes to watch tv whilst laying in front of the log burner.

Labradorables

 This is Ori's litter of beautiful bonny labrador pups. They now have their coloured collars on as they have to be regularly weighed and are too alike to tell apart easily.

That's mum in the corner looking on. She's a great mum to her puppies. Her own mum, Echo, has met these babies and was quite taken with them.

Lola's three plus one

 This is Lola's litter, except for the little black and white girl. She belongs to Willow. She was Willow's first born pup and she wasn't quite sure what to do with her so Lola stepped in and took her on with her own three puppies. We have left her there as they are happy. She is registered with Willow's litter.

We have added tea bag paper to the puppies area to help them keep clean. Our girls' puppy whelping boxes all have underfloor heating, and over head heat lamps for the early days.

All four of these pups are girls, and all four are beautiful.

Theyre getting quite brave!

 These tiny munchkins will be four whole weeks old on Monday. Have a look at the little golden pup putting his paw up as much to say "here I go". 

He took himself up and over the dividing barrier today and then became a little upset as he couldn't get back! He's a sweet little guy. 

Their eyes are all open and now they come running across the floor, towards us, in their own puppy ways. I love how our little white boy is developing his lemon colouring about his face and ears.

Little man finds his family

 Sadly, but happily, our darling little man found his family today. A lovely couple seeking a bright and friendly companion found him, met him, and fell in love.

Wishing him, and them, all the very best for a happy and fun filled time. Happy travels baby boy, and enjoy the kayaking ❤

Dave heads to Grimsby.

 Today our beautiful Dave met his new mum. It started with a message this morning asking about him, followed by a telephone conversation and an arrangement to visit and meet us and, of course Dave. Dave made himself very comfortable with his prospective new mum and she decided he was the one for her.

Paperwork sorted, questions asked and answered, and a new journey began. Dave tucked up happily in the car and went on his travels to Grimsby. He is missed and tears were shed, but he is going to have a wonderful life with his new family who are experienced and capable dog owners.

His brother Goob is currently sound asleep in the front room. He did cry a little for Dave but soon settled and is enjoying being the only. Goob is a cuddly and confident little boy and hopefully he will sleep well tonight.

Two happy cocker spaniel boys

 These two lads are for sale to the right people. They have started the basics of lead training and of going out to toilet, they sleep all night from around 10pm until 7:30am. They are used to big dogs and mix well with them. They have both been vaccinated and are ready to meet the right people. Our family put a lot of effort into raising healthy and well bred dogs who will give back everything that they are shown.

Meeting the new families

 Today we welcomed a lovely family to meet one of the puppies. We like to spend time with prospective buyers to do what we can to make sure they choose the right puppy for their home, as well as to get a feel for who they are and what they can offer one of our puppies.

It is important that prospective new owners understand the cocker spaniel breed, and know what they may be letting themselves in for.

Today's visitors already own a cocker so have a good idea how their new family member will fit in, but every single pup has their own personality.

Cocker spaniel puppies for sale.

 We currently have five beautiful cocker spaniel puppies for sale. They are 9 weeks old and all have had their first vaccinations and vet checks.

Our vet fell in love with them all and said they are just perfect. 

When someone buys a puppy from us they are buying years of experience and a lifetime of help and advice. 

We have three bitches and two dogs available. Two of the bitches are black with white chest markings. One has tiny white toe tips on her back paws, and the other has bigger white toe tips on her back paws.

One bitch is black and white ticked. She has the most beautiful spots all over.

One of the boys is also black and white ticked, and the other is liver and white ticked.

They are all beautiful healthy animals and will make brilliant family members for either working or pet homes.

Meet Hugo

 Hugo is our wonderful, smart, loveable, loyal, compact cocker spaniel stud dog. He is a friendly little fellow who enjoys being out and about as much as relaxing in the house with his family. He is the dad to the litter currently available.

 These beautiful cocker spaniels turn 8 weeks tomorrow. All booked in to see the vet and one is leaving us at the weekend. They are a fun and lively litter who have made every day of the last almost 8 weeks a joy in their own special way.

We are an established and experienced licensed family breeders of working cocker spaniels and labrador retrievers. Our aim is to breed healthy and confident puppies who will bring years of enjoyment, comfort, and companionship to families and working people across the country.

All of our animals are health tested and well looked after. They live in our family home and we endeavour to give them the absolute best life possible.

We are based in the beautiful Fenland area of the East of England and are fortunate to have many beautiful estates and beaches within reach where we can exercise and socialise our beautiful dogs.
